Dr. Salma Zaman holds a Ph.D. in International Business from Rutgers Business School, where her research focused on the changing structures of international knowledge flows in global cities. Her work lies at the intersection of international business, innovation networks, and digital transformation.

Her research explores how global knowledge connectivity influences innovation, especially in emerging markets. She also investigates the role of digital platforms, blockchain, and social media data in shaping financial behavior and public trust. Her research has appeared in journals such as the Journal of Economic Geography, Economics of Innovation and New Technology, and the Journal of Risk Finance.

At LUMS, Dr. Zaman teaches courses across the undergraduate and graduate programs, including Strategic Management, Business Analytics, and Data Science for Decision Making. 

Prior to her academic career, she held roles in HR consulting, corporate training, and marketing operations in various organizations.
